Hey everyone! I am so grateful to have you all cheering me on as I take on the 2026 London Marathon. This race means the world to me, and knowing you will be out there on the route gives me the energy to keep going when it gets tough. Please pick your viewing spot below, claim it, and I will look out for every single one of you! And if you can, please consider donating to Rays of Sunshine — every pound makes a real difference to children with serious illnesses. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. See you on the course!
Rays of Sunshine is a national children's charity that brightens the lives of seriously ill young people aged 3–18 across the UK by granting their wishes and providing ongoing support. From meeting their heroes to unforgettable experiences, every wish brings joy, hope, and precious memories to children and their families during incredibly difficult times. Your donations directly help make these life-changing moments possible.

Leave a message of support for Taher!
Use the London Underground or Overground. Avoid driving — road closures are extensive on race day. Check TfL for live updates.
Look out for Taher's race number. Stand near the 400m mark after a mile marker for the best view and photo opportunity.
Bring a warm layer, snacks, and a hot drink. April in London can be chilly. Arrive at your spot at least 30 minutes early.
Bring a sign, a cowbell, or just your loudest voice! Runners feed off crowd energy — especially after Mile 18 when it gets hard.
Download the TCS London Marathon app to track Taher's live position on race day. You will get alerts as he approaches your spot.
Agree a meeting point before race day — The Mall gets very busy at the finish. St James's Park is a great post-race gathering spot.
Call out runners by their name on their bib — it gives an incredible personal boost. A simple "Go Taher!" at the right moment can carry a runner through the next mile.
Plan your route out before the crowds build. Check road closure maps on the TfL website in advance so you can move between viewing spots or head home without getting stuck.
